My addiction started with Chitti and has unerringly kept up with the unbelievably crass soaps dished out in the name of intelligent production since then. There is something about them mega serials - your mind tells you to move away, but your heart (with feet in concurrence) is rooted to the spot.
Chitti (the one that gave Radhika a rebirth), Kolangal (the serial that never ended, almost), Metti Oli (Oh man, that takes the cake), and now, Thangam, Thenral, Kasturi...really eye, sorry mouth, watering...
