There are many preview theaters in Chennai. here are a few:

South Indian Film Chamber - 605, Anna Salai, Chennai - 28291507 (I've been here several times. Its just behind Rani Seethai Hall. Awesome preview theater)

Sridevi preview Theater - 14, Vijayaraghava Road, T Nagar - 28151835

MM Preview Theater - new No 157, Old No 57, Kodambakkam High Road, T Nagar (Near State Bank of India) - 28343813

There is also Four Frame Preview Theater - No 18, Lake Area, 5th Street, Nungambakkam - 28175555. there are many other places. But these are the best I've known.

I am not sure if Sindhuja's response is answering the question...the question is about promoting one's theater shows, not previewing some one else's...
